10 Days Tour in Jordan
Itinerary:
Day 01: Airport QAIA – Amman
Upon arrival, our representative will meet the clients at Queen Alia International Airport for assistance with customs and immigration procedures. Transfer to hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman
Breakfast, Morning city tour of Amman to visit Jerash; one of the most preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East ,Proceed to visit the village of Ajlun with its fortress and magnificent view into the Jordan Valley. And return to Amman. Dinner and overnight.
Day 03: Amman – Desert castles – Citadel & Amphitheater– Amman
After breakfast proceed to visit the desert castles and palaces, built by the Umayyad Caliphs in the 8th century AD. They built these castles and palaces in the Jordanian desert in order to maintain the caravan routes and to secure the loyalty of Jordanian tribes. In addition, they built hunting lodges to enjoy horse riding, hunting and bathing, Visit Kharaneh Palace, Amra Palace, and Azraq castle, and then transfer back to Amman to visit the ruins of the Amman Amphitheatre, the citadel and the Umayyad Palace….. And return to Amman. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04: Amman – Madaba – Nebo- Kerak – Petra
Breakfast, Morning departure south through the king’s way, an ancient route that still has marks left from traders, armies and pilgrims who crossed it centuries ago. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba “The City of Mosaics” and take a detour to Mount Nebo, the site of the endearing monastery. Proceed to Kerak through Wadi Moujeb, and then visit the Kerak castle with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. Depart to Petra for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Petra full day visit
Breakfast, The visit of the ancient Nabatean Capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs, The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Red Rose City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. Lunch inside Petra. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
06: Petra – Wadi Rum 4×4 Jeep tour
Breakfast, transfer to explore the splendid natural wonders of the Wadi Rum, a stark desert landscape made famous in the movie ‘Lawrence of Arabia’. We travel by 4-wheel drive down the Wadi stopping to see magnificent isolated oases and natural springs and explore a Nabataean temple. Proceed to your camp n Wadi Rum. Dinner & overnight.
Day 07: Wadi Rum – Aqaba
Breakfast at your camp, transfer to Aqaba (city tour by bus), Continue to your hotel in Aqaba. Dinner & overnight.
Day 08: Aqaba free day
Free day at leisure.
Day 09: Aqaba – Dead Sea
Breakfast, transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of earth. Where you can enjoy a day of rest and relaxation at the beautiful Dead Sea with its warm therapeutic waters and indulge in the mineral-rich Dead Sea mud! Check-in your hotel in the Dead Sea. Dinner & overnight.
Day 10: Dead Sea – QAIA Airport
Breakfast, Morning transfer to the airport, Assistance with formalities and departure.
